Il Patek Philippe Nautilus è uno degli orologi sportivi ed eleganti più ricercati dai collezionisti di tutto il mondo, nato nel 1976, dalla mente del geniale maestro orologiaio Gerald Genta.Il suo peculiare design si ispirava probabilmente alla forma degli oblò del Nautilus, il fantastico sottomarino che accompagna le avventure del Capitano Nemo, il famoso personaggio di Ventimila Leghe sotto i Mari, uno dei più grandi romanzi di Jules Verne, pubblicato la prima volta nel 1870.Il primo Nautilus, definito Jumbo per le sue dimensioni (42 mm di larghezza) ed impermeabile fino a 60 metri, era un orologio sportivo ma elegante, decisamente robusto ed impermeabile grazie a una costruzione particolarmente raffinata e realizzato in acciaio. Il suo inimitabile design lo rende tutt’oggi uno dei segnatempo da investimento più importanti del mercato nazionale ed internazionale.
