2014 Ron Gilad designed for the 2014 collection two pieces based on the same idea, that of showing the back of an oriental carpet and only a small portion of the fleece. Upsidedown n. 1 is a large white rectangle with a small piece of carpet turned upside down, while Upsidedown n. 2 seems to have one side completely folded to show its design. With these rugs, Ron Gilad once again demon- strates its ability to deal with design from a perceptually and conceptually new, playful and intriguing point of view.
