HERMES “LE CARNAVAL DE VENISE” CARRE
Un esemplare di estrema eleganza, dedicato alla festa in maschera di Venezia e volto a rallegrare gli outfits invernali, come suggerito da Booklet Le Carré dell’inverno 1993/94 (anno di presentazione di questo Carré) come dimostra la firma presente in un dettaglio del disegno.
“Venezia è una maschera sul volto del presente, e sotto di essa la nostra civiltà ha pianto per la sua giovinezza perduta in calde lacrime dorate per un secolo. La storia vince. Il Carnevale ci restituisce, una volta all'anno, gli echi di un passato in cui il fruscio delle gondole non era ancora stato messo a tacere. Questa celebrazione non ha inizio né fine; è nell'aria. I suoi riflessi ci incantano. I nostri sospiri volano via da noi in un grande battito d'ali.”
An example of extreme elegance, dedicated to the masquerade party in Venice and aimed at cheering up the winter outfits, as suggested by Booklet Le Carré of the winter 1993/94 (year of presentation of this Carré) as shown by the signature present in a detail of the drawing.
